Designer Priyadarshini Rao, who showcased her contemporary collection titled - An Ode To Indigo - at the last day of Lakme Fahion Week Winter/Festive 2014 Sunday, tagged it as a "global collection".

And why not!

She used free flowing fabrics in different hues of Indigo to create the garments that seemed suitable for any modern woman's wardrobe as the cuts and silhouettes were not only stylish, they were on par with international styles.

From dresses to free flowing long shirts teamed up with palazzo pants, Priyadarshini's collection made with fabrics like dyed silk, chanderi, chiffon, and georgette, were high on wearability factor.

Amazing kurtis, pants, and saris with a stylish and modern makeover were also part of the ensemble.

Inspired by nature, the colours of the fabric were reminiscent of misty mountains, pale green lakes and much more.

Priyadarshini said her collection can't be called Indo-western collection, "I will call it global collection".
