Desire for power led to superheroes: Mahesh Bhatt

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt says the "desire for power" and "ability to thwart" led to the creations of heroes like "Superman" and now "Mr X".

"The desire for power and the ability to thwart evil and to right all wrongs led to such icons as 'Superman' also 'Mr X'," Mahesh tweeted.

Written by Shagufta Rafique, "Mr X" is being directed by Vikram Bhatt and features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role.
