'B.A. Pass' team geared for success party

The team of "B.A. Pass" is set to party hard to celebrate the film's release.

Directed by Ajay Bahl, the movie on male prostitution features actors Shilpa Shukla and Shadab Kamal. It released Friday.

If sources are to be believed, the cast will let their hair down Sunday night.

"Everybody is in a celebration mood as the film got 1,800 shows in a day and 750 screens, which is commendable for an independent film which has not been backed by any studio," a source close to the team, told IANS.

The film has been presented and distributed by Bharat Shah. Rs. 2 crore reportedly went into the making of the film, and Rs. 1.5 crore was spent on marketing it.

"The entire team of the film is in a party mood and has been partying since the day the film released and there will be a lavish party at Versova hang out place on Sunday night," the source revealed.

Based on Mohan Sikka's short story "The Railway Aunty", "B.A. Pass" has been screened at prestigious film festivals, including Montreal World Film Festival, New York Indian Film Festival, ImagineIndia Film Festival in Spain, and Jeonju-South Korea.
