designer Aniket SatamOn the occasion of Republic Day, designer Aniket Satam has launched his latest capsule collection that celebrates the joy of Indian culture and aesthetics.

"I think as Indians, the occasion like Republic day requires more attention and as a designer the best way to extend the national joy of our Indianness is to create something unique for this occasion, inspired by India," Satam told IANS.

The five-piece collection is inspired by Kala Ghoda Arts Festival.

"It is a capsule collection of five pieces derived from my debut Kala Ghoda Arts Festival collection, which was personally hand-painted by ace artist-calligraphist Achyut Pallav," said the designer.

The range comprises of overcoats and dresses in bright colours.

"The base of this collection is classic monochrome splashed with vibrant burst of summer colours like canary, popsicle orange, mint blue, leaf green etc. All the outfits are made from ahimsa silk, voile, cotton, corduroy detailed with pleats and pintucks," said the designer.

The designs are available at designer stores and their price can be ascertained on request.
