Film Aloo Chaat starring Aftab and Aamna goes on the floors

Mirchi Movies Limited, a subsidiary of Times Infotainment Media Limited (A Times Group Company) and Actor Anuj Saxena's production houseAftab Shivdasani and Anuj Saxena" src="http://www1.india-forums.com/bollywood/images/uploads/amna_aftab_anuj_big.jpg" align="right" border="0" hspace="5" vspace="5"> Maverick Productions Pvt. Ltd. in association with Berlian films are co-producing a feature film titled "Aloo Chaat" starring Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff.

Says Munish Purii, COO of Mirchi Movies Limited, "ALOO CHAAT is based on a terrific family-comedy script and the film's story has all the elements of a universal appeal. This film will release after Mirchi Movies next release HARI PUTTAR – A COMEDY OF TERRORS – which is coming in the Summer of 2008."

Says Anuj Saxena, CEO of Maverick Production, "Maverick is delighted to partner with Mirchi Movies and both will work together to produce an impactful film. Maverick has recently completed three successful years in the industry and has a wide portfolio ranging from TV shows, films, awards show, documentaries and advertisements and we surely intend to make more movies in coming months".

ALOO CHAAT went on the floors on Monday, 25th February. The film will be shot in Mumbai & Delhi. Robby Grewal, who had directed Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar ('MP3') and Samay is directing ALOO CHAAT.
