Our real life more dramatic than our films: Karan

Filmmaker Karan Johar, whose films are tagged as over-the-top drama, says that real life is more dramatic than what is seen in films.

"Let me tell you that in our real life there is more drama than our films. The drama in our films is still subtle. If you hear our real life stories, you'll realise that we make very subtle stories. There is a lot of drama off-screen," the 40-year-old said.

Some of Karan's films include "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" and "Kal Ho Naa Ho", and "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna", among others.
