SRK, Shirish patch up, courtesy Sajid, Gauri

After a tumultuous day of muck-flying and titanic tweeting, battle-scarred party bashers Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish Kunder called truce Tuesday afternoon, courtesy Shirish's brother-in-law Sajid Khan and Shah Rukh's wife Gauri Khan.

Apparently, Sajid and Gauri called for a meeting at Shah Rukh Khan's residence Mannat between the two warring parties. Over a hot meal and cool discussion, the acrimony was wiped clean.

Confirming the reconciliation, Sajid Khan said: "Yes, I felt terrible about the ugly turn that the whole affair took. Shah Rukh and Shirish had a fight, agreed. But the media didn't have to play it up to the point of making it on the front of national newspapers."

Getting sentimental, Sajid added: "Do you know, when my sister Farah and Shirish got married, there were only three witnesses. Me, Sajid Nadiadwala and Shah Rukh. We're family. And there're bound to be differences between family members. Yes, Gauri and I took the initiative. All of us met at Mannat over a meal and it was all sorted out."

Farah Khan added: "I can't begin to tell you how relieved I am. This had turned really ugly. And before it got uglier, my brother took matters into his hands. Full credit to Gauri for making the reconciliation happen. When my brother asked her where we should meet, she said Mannat, because she said it's Farah's home. I am so moved."

Farah says this is not only the end of the ugly spat, but also a new beginning for her and Shah Rukh.

"I really liked what he said. He made us promise to wipe out all the bitterness of the last two years and start afresh. I feel like a big burden is off my back," she said.

Honestly, I have never been a fan of Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, and Shirish Kunder. They all make crappy bollywood movies (especially Sajid Khan). Sajid khan and shirish kunder shouldn't even be in the industry after making movies like Heyy Baby, Jaan-E-Mann, Tees mar khan, housefull.
Farah khan may be a lousy filmmaker, but she is at least a good choreographer. Sajid and Shirish have ZERO talent.
And yeah, when it comes to mocking people at award functions, Sajid Khan and Farah Khan are number 1.

Great that the patch happpened. But one thing for sure if any body is NASTY with SRK he will kick the hell out of that person but the Bodybuilder Salman khan doesnot have such GUTS,he can only talk tough but no Show when called to fight. He can drive drunk and kill poor people sleeping on street and get away with his contact, and bribing the authorities, because of his contact.BUT SRK IS TRUE PATHAN. AMJ2012-02-01 03:10:38

I'm glad that everything's sorted now.
But Shirish DESERVED that slap! SRK had never done anything bad to him & had helped his wife become famous in bollywood. Shirish should have never sent those tweets mocking SRK & his movies. I'd had enough out of him. It's good SRK slapped some sense on him!

Good thing Shirish and SRK stopped acting like little kids, and settled the dispute. For all we know..it could've just been a publicity stunt to get Kunder in the headlines for his upcoming flick, Joker. -.-
