It's destination Mumbai for Piaa Bajpai

Chennai Dec 7 (IANS) After doing southern movies, Piaa Bajpai shifted to Bollywood and has quietly finished shooting for her first Hindi movie.

'The shooting of the Hindi film is almost over with just a song pending. The producers are not keen about revealing anything about the film until the formal announcement is made. I am keen on doing more Hindi films,' said the actress.

Piaa had huge success in Tamil movie 'Ko' opposite young hero Jiiva, but didn't do any Tamil film after that, but worked in Malayalam movie 'Masters'.

'After 'Ko', I wanted that my next film in Tamil should take me to the next level. I got many offers but didn't sign any project as I was getting the same bubbly girls roles offer.

'I didn't want to be stereotyped. And certainly I didn't want to be another Saro (her character in 'Ko'),' said Piaa, adding: 'When a good film from K-Town will come my way, I will consider it.'

Piaa has always been maintaining that Bollywood is her ultimate goal.

Yuvan to his 'Kolaveri' version

Emulating a successful trend is a common phenomenon in the film industry. Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is all set to cash in the success of Tamil song 'Kolaveri' by composing and crooning something similar for the movie 'Vettai'.

Yuvan's version of the song is titled 'Papparappa', part of Madhavan-Arya starrer 'Vettai'. The peppy dance number, sung by Yuvan himself, will be released officially on Dece 12.

It is learnt from reliable sources that the team of 'Vettai' will shoot an in-studio video of the song in the lines of 'Kolaveri' and uploaded it on the video sharing website.

'The team felt that this number from the album (which has a total of five songs) has the potential to become a rage. It's a party number and with Yuvan singing it, we wanted to make it special. We also decided to shoot a video of the song during the recording,' said a source.

'It will be shot on Arya, Maddy, director Lingusamy, lyricist Na Muthukumar and Yuvan himself. We are trying to rope in Amala Paul for the video as the song is picturised on her and Arya in the film. We want to make this the 'Vettai team song',' added the source.

Coffee war between Karthi, Suriya

If Tamil hit screen pair Kajal Aggarwal and Karthi are promoting Bru Coffee, Suriya along with his wife Jyothika are associated with Nescafe.

Suriya and Karthi are brothers.

Kajal is growing as a big star in Tamil Nadu. In fact, she is currently doing a film with Suriya in the lead.

In Telugu, she needs no introduction as she is one of the prime contenders for the number one spot. Her 'Businessman' is due for release in January and she will be seen with Magadheera Charan.
