'Joker' to release Aug 30, 2012

Shirish Kunder's 3D movie 'Joker', starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, will release Aug 30 next year.

'Joker' release date confirmed, to arrive on 30th August, 2012,' Kunder posted on micro-blogging site Twitter.

The 38-year-old, who is married to choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, says the dates will not clash with Kabir Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger', which has Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

'Joker' is releasing two weeks after 'Ek Tha Tiger'. Don't worry, not clashing, would never do that,' he further tweeted.

The film is being jointly produced by Kunder and Farah's Three's Company and Akshay's Hari Om Entertainment Company.

Kunder, who made his directorial debut with 'Jaan-E-Mann' in 2006, is also working on his action comedy, 'Kick'. A remake of 2009 Telugu film with the same name, the film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and features Salman and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.

'We start shooting 'Kick' in June,' he said.

i m waiting desperately what shit is coming our way by these two directors who have no idea how to make a film.tees maar khan was the joke of the century.why can't farah stick to her job of choreography and stop dreaming about directing a film.as far as MR KUNDER is concerned,i want to see his superhero flick coz he has the balls to bash RA 1 THEN I D LIKE TO SEE HIS CREATIVITY.LOSER.hope akki quits this film.he shouldn't be working in farah's films after her disastrous TMK.AKKI deserves better.

Poor Mr Kunder. Does he think that a flop actor and a flop director will make a hit togrther? Sorry, just not possible. It is Kunder's blunder. It will not make any difference whether he releases his film 2 weeks after Ek tha tiger or 2 months after that, the fate of the Joker will remain the same: a thoker from the public.

to be honest i don't know how the movie will do or how it is but i hate the directer farah and her husband i mean they are soo mean to srk. I am his fan and after ra one and mnik i can't eaven think aamir is good he is ok. how can they say soo bad to srk they two need to shut the hell up
