Not rushing for 'Joker': Shirish Kunder (Movie Snippets)

New Delhi, Sep 30 Shirish Kunder's ambitious 3D project 'Joker', starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, will release in 2012, and the wait will be worth it, says the film editor-turned-director.

'Joker' completes shooting in November. Then begins work on VFX and 3D. The wait will be totally worth it. Have patience. Big films take time,' Kunder posted on his Twitter page.

The 38-year-old, who is married to choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, says he wants to leave no stone unturned for his latest project.

'Joker'is the first of its kind film. So every detail needs a lot of time and effort since it's being attempted for the first time. 'Joker' will release sometime in 2012. We are not rushing for it. I believe filmmaking is not a race. It's not a product. It's a work of passion,' he added.

In the past, Kunder has edited films like 'Main Hoon Na' and 'Om Shanti Om'. His debut directorial movie 'Jaan E Mann' released in 2006.

The film is being jointly produced by Kunder and Farah's Three's Company and Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Entertainment Company.

Actress Priyanka Chopra is down with a throat infection, and dying to get her voice back.

'Had a super hectic super fun day yesterday. Shot for 'Barfee'... then went for the 'Just Dance' finale and then the 'Chargesheet' premiere... phew. Down with a throat infection... so croaking away... Need my voice back... gonna be in the studio soon... any quick fixes?' tweeted Priyanka.

The 29-year-old actress has a slate of films lined up. The list includes 'Don 2: The Chase Continues', 'Agneepath', 'Barfee', 'Teri Meri Kahani' and 'Krrish 2'.

She is also busy working on her international music album.

Vaibhavi Merchant spills beans about Rani

Vaibhavi Merchant let out a professional secret about Rani Mukerji when the actress's fan met the choreographer.

'The deal with Rani is that when you brief her, she has a blank face which makes you feel like she is not getting what you are telling her. But when she goes in front of the camera she does wonders,' Vaibhavi told Rani's 23-year-old fan Zeeshan Khan.

The 23-year-old met Rani's close friend Vaibhavi during the shoot for 'Live My Life'. The episode will go on air on UTV Stars Sunday.
