'Tere Naam 2' script will be ready soon: Satish Kaushik

New Delhi, Sep 21 Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik says the script of the sequel to his 2003 Salman Khan-starrer hit movie 'Tere Naam' will be locked soon.

'Already working on the script of 'Tere Naam 2'... it will be ready soon,' Kaushik, who is best remembered for his role as Calendar in 'Mr.India', posted on his Twitter page.

'Tere Naam', which was directed by Kaushik, was a remake of the 1999 Tamil film 'Sethu'. It featured Salman as Radhe Mohan, a young boy who falls in love with a girl, but loses his mind when he is attacked by goons and is admitted to an asylum.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is fascinated with the hi-tech devices and treatments available for the eye, but he likes his uber cool frames the best because they have 'more character'.

The 69-year-old likes experimenting with different eyewear - on screen as well as off screen.

He tweeted: 'Went for routine eye check up, learnt they have device to surgically put a multifocus lens inside your eye, so you never need glasses. Very rapid technical advances in the field or opthalmic devices... every three months something new makes other equipment obsolete!

'Hey now! Do not jump to conclusions that I am going for laser technology... NOPE! I love my framed lenses... more character!'

He sported a bespectacled look in films like 'Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna' and 'Rann'.

No more acting on TV: Tisca

She enjoys an occasional stint on the small screen, but Tisca Chopra doubts she would ever return to acting on the tube.

'Now I have films lined up, so it is kind of hard to act on TV because it needs a lot more time and hours on a daily basis. But I enjoy hosting and judging,' Tisca, who busy playing narrator on Sony TV's 'Prayaschit', told IANS.

She had earlier acted in serials like 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' and 'Sarrkkar: Risshton Ki Ankahi Kahani'. She even judged STAR News' 'Anchor Hunt'. On the film front, she will be seen in 'Love Breakups Zindagi', which is Dia Mirza and Zayed Khan's debut production.

    my love affair with salman started with this film went into SK obsession mode and havent gotten over it yet- loved this movie couldn't handle the end - gona watch it when it comes out but pray that it has a happy ending

    Tere Naam was beautiful movie, with beautiful touching songs. I cried and cried for Sallu's character. They should leave the movie has it is.

    i have seen most of the parts in bollywood have flopd except Golmaal parts but in tere naam 2 salman is there so m sure this will also get hit ;)

    Tere Naam was one of the best movies ever BUT I believe the ending was satisfactory. No need for continuation of the story unless a different story altogether has been written and has nothing to do with the previous one. In that case, it would be a sequence, not a sequel.

    making a sequel to this isnt the best idea. The main reason i loved this movie so much was due to the fact that he loved her even after her death if he finds someone else now and gets over her the whole movie will be spoiledThumbs Down

    I LOVED TERE NAAM!!!!!!!!!!Best sad,tragic love story in history-actually beats Romeo and Juliet! Sallu acting was so fab-omg I'm just so happy and speechless hearing there would be a part 2...Definately Sallu has to be the main lead-NO ONE COULD REPLACE HIM IN THIS MOVIE.Boomika was a really nice lead-but since she died there might be a new female lead-probably to teach Radhe hw 2 love again-but that would just ruin the whole idea of the inseparable love story between the 2 :/...whatever it is I'll surely be looking forward to it :D
