Hits or flops don't determine my future: Naseer (Movie Snippets)

Mumbai, Sep 7 National award-winning actor Naseeruddin Shah, who has acted in over 70 films in his so far 35-year-long career, says he never worries about the fate of his films at the box office.

'I don't have any tensions about Friday. I'm very grateful that I don't have to live sleepless nights thinking whether the film will work or not. The success or failure of a film is what bothers a director and a producer. My job is to work in it. What work will I get in future is not dependant on the fact whether my last film was a hit or flop,' the 62-year-old actor told IANS.

From offbeat to commercial to international movies, he has proved his mettle everywhere. The versatile actor is known for his performances in 'Ijaazat', 'Sparsh', 'Aakrosh', 'Masoom', 'Karma', 'Tridev', 'Sir', 'Iqbal', 'A Wednesday' and his Hollywood venture 'The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen'.

Anurag eats, sleeps and breathes cinema: Gulshan Deviah

Actor Gulshan Deviah describes Anurag Kashyap as an extremely passionate filmmaker who could be demanding on sets but still people love to work with him.

'On the sets, Anurag is not a hard taskmaster for the actors, but he can be little demanding for other team members because all of a sudden he would think about some improvisations and then quickly wants everything in place. But everyone who works for him, loves him and knows how he works, so they don't have a problem with that,' Gulshan told IANS.

'He is very passionate about his work and you can see that. He is thinking, eating, breathing cinema. Everyone feeds off his energy,' he added.

The actor has worked with Anurag in 'That Girl In Yellow Boots' and 'Shaitan'. While the former was the filmmaker's directorial venture, the latter was produced by him.

'Acting is my passion. I have no plans of giving it up. But for television I don't have time, although I'm getting good offers. But if I take that up, then I don't know who will take care of my multiple businesses,' Anuj told IANS.

The actor, who is also the managing director of Elder Healthcare, will start planning his next acting venture soon. At the moment he is busy with the post-production of his forthcoming production venture 'One And Only' starring Kangana Ranaut and newcomer Chirag Paswan.
