Priyanka to pay tribute to Asha Bhosle at IIFA

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will pay a tribute to singing legend Asha Bhosle at the ongoing International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards in Toronto in an act choreographed by Shiamak Davar.

'Yes, Priyanka is doing a tribute to Ashaji. Asha Bhosle will receive an award for outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. Shiamak Davar will choreograph the tribute,' said Sabbas Joseph, director, Wizcraft International Entertainment, the organisers of the event.

Shiamak said: 'When one does a tribute to a legend like Ashaji one has to be faithful to the originals. But I love interpreting songs in my own way as always.I love Ashaji's songs. They're timeless. I've re-developed the whole era with my properties and costumes. I am sure PC (Priyanka) will do a good job.'

Priyanka is just one of those actresses (BECAUSE) she can dance, and act, she is one of those actresses that does tributes REALLY well. Plus, she has an amazing voice! She is gorgeous too, and is so down to earth without having very many issues with anyone. I love and appreciate her and her efforts!

She looked awesome and her outfits were also beautiful. But I was disappointed with some parts here and there. And I agree with cooks09 regarding her comments on the hosts - Ritesh and Boman Irani. Must be the poor script. But I wouldn't have missed it for anything.
