Daya out of 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4' (With Images)

New Delhi, Jan 28 (IANS) Actor Daya Shetty, known for his role in the crime thriller 'C.I.D.', is the latest celebrity who has been voted out of the dance reality show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4'.

Daya and his choreographer Vrushali couldn't perform in the last week's episode due to the actor's back problem. However unlike other eliminated contestants Daya got a chance to perform in front of the judges on the day of his elimination.

According to a source, on the demand of judges Madhuri Dixit, Malaika Arora Khan and Remo D'Souza, Daya and his choreographer performed on the hit number 'Ayo re ayo re', and even got standing ovation not only from the judges but also from the audience.

To add to this, an overjoyed Remo told Daya that 'C.I.D.' and Sony should consider introducing a Robot Cop and Daya should play that role in the show.

So far Anushka Manchanda, Renuka Shahane, Akhil Kumar and Krushna Abhishek have been eliminated, while Yana Gupta and Ankita Lokhande are back in the show as wild card entries.

The episode featuring Daya's elimination will be aired Monday on Sony.
