Mumbai, Jan 28 (IANS) Composer Pritam Chakraborty is excited that his compositions for 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai' got him the Mirchi Listeners' Choice Award for the best album of the year. He feels when people love his music, he doesn't have to worry about the jury.

'Best thing is that I always get the listeners' choice award. The public always votes for me. I am very happy about that. People love my songs, I am very happy for that. I don't care about the jury,' Pritam told IANS after receiving the award at the Mirchi Music Awards Thursday.

'What inspires me most is that it's a public voting award and not jury award,' he added.

This is the second award he received this year after winning BIG Star Awards for the song 'Pee Loon' from the same movie.

Pritam believes that in the present scenario, the music director is the most important person behind any good music and not the singer.

'Once singers used to be more powerful, but now music directors are the most important people behind any music,' said Pritam.
