Raipur, Aug 3 (IANS) Two tribals were arrested from Chhattisgarh's Bastar district with leopard skins valued at Rs.2 lakh in the international market, police said Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, police caught Maniram Netam and Dashmat Netam in the Kondagaon area of Bastar district, some 220 km south of here, late Monday. The accused hail from Orissa.

'On interrogation, they revealed they had purchased the skins from Orissa recently and were looking for buyers in Chhattisgarh,' Mohsin Khan, a police officer, told IANS.
