'Khatta Meetha' reviews were disheartening: Trisha

South India actress Trisha Krishnan, who teamed up with Askhay Kumar in 'Khatta Meetha', is upset with the media for trashing the comedy.

'I am a bit net buff and read everything. The reviews were bit disheartening. The reviews have trashed the movie. I don't know box-office wise, it's too early to speak, I guess,' Trisha told IANS in an interview.

But she doesn't regret doing the movie.

'I don't regret because it's a baby step in Bollywood and I would not have got a better package. It had a big director, big hero and I am happy with it,' said Trisha.

In 'Khatta Meetha', Trisha plays a municipal commissioner with Akshay essaying the role of a struggling construction contractor.

'People said that probably I didn't fit the role of the commissioner. The commissioner should be a slightly older person. Actually, it was a very backhanded compliment in a way. I did feel that a commissioner should look a bit mature,' said the actress.

'Friends were honest to say that they didn't like me in the commissioner's role. They like me as a college girl. It was a risk because I have never done something like this. Even in South, I have done different kind of roles, but never this kind of a role,' she said.

who sed a commissioner was supposed to look older? municipal commissioners are not more than 30-31, and thats how old i am guessing Trisha must be....!!!

aww...sometimes when we write comments and stuff we don't often think about how it affects the actors reading them! i do wish her all the best in Bollywood though!

um, wht did she expect?! bcz nowadays akhshay has very stupid films! dnt get me wrng, hes a good actr and all tht, bt he shd be more careful about the scripts he chooses! his earlier films used to be soo good, bt nw they are nt soo good!

rekhasharma, plz dont say kumar a mr.flop.... he do his stunts himself... thats the big thing coz no other actor do the whole stunts like him.... he is a very good actor n his stunts r mind blowing....

Am afrid she chose the wrong set up for her debut in Hindi films. She should have known the BO status of her hero. Mr Flop Kumar is no longer a saleable actor now. To compond the mistake, Trisha is now to be seen with Adhyan Suman whose box office pull in way below zero. She should pull out of that movie pronto.

oh i totally love her in all telugu movies n tamil ones which i watched,especially vinnaithandi varuvaya,she is lovely as jessy
its just,u never get chance to act in akshay movies,its only glamor that works in his movie which is not in this movie,katrina is a hit coz of her pair with akshay which is glamorous though she improved a lot after,so i really hope u get a good character
@sweet104,priya_al,well actually i know trisha a way before shilpa anand,trisha is my fav from long time,so when i watched DMG for first time,i thought shilpa resemble a lot with trisha,which i love,so now both are my favs

Trisha a brilliant actress I have watched her telugu movies.. she is a marvelous actress!!!
