Bollywood welcomes Aamir Khan on Twitter

New Delhi, July 1 (IANS) Bollywood stars welcomed actor Aamir Khan on microblogging site Twitter with a series of messages.

The 45-year-old star's followers have already reached 59,625 on the very first day and the number is still increasing.

Filmmaker Karan Johar welcomed Aamir by tweeting: @aamir_khan on twitterverse people!!!

Salman Khan posted: 'Aamir on twitter guyz'.

Priyanka Chopra wrote, 'Welcoming the amazing @aamir_khan !!! Show him some loooove people!!!'

Genelia D'Souza posted: 'Please welcome the man, the rockstar and a very special person who is the key reason for me being back with 'Jaane Tu...', my favourite @aamir_khan'

Nephew Imran Khan also welcomed his maternal uncle by writing: '@aamir_khan = REAL'

Actress Minissha Lamba wrote: '@aamir_khan dear aamir... welcome... u have long been missed on twitter.'

Veteran actor Shammi Kapoor also tweeted: @aamir_khan if its you and I hope it is, then a hearty welcome. Love

Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali also welcomed Aamir by posting: 'So excited that Aamir Khan @aamir_khan is on twitter... he is an actor par excellence... welcome him to our tweet world tweeps...'
