New Delhi, May 21 (IANS) Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was worried when his daughter-in-law and actress Aishwarya Rai left for Chennai, which was under threat from cyclone Laila.

'Aishwarya left this morning for Chennai right into the thick of the cyclone Laila, which has now hit coastal Andhra (Pradesh) and Tamil Nadu. But she was safe and has started work on 'Robot' with Rajnikant. I was most worried about the weather conditions, but thankfully all went well,' the 67-year-old posted on his blog Friday.

Cyclonic Laila remained stationary near south coastal Andhra Pradesh as heavy rains and gales continued to batter the region for the third consecutive day Friday, killing 27 people and inundating towns and villages.

'I would meet the winner in person over a cup of coffee, maybe and of course, the winner gets to go home with a 'Raajneeti' goodies bag,' the actor posted on his Facebook page.

Political drama 'Raajneeti' is slated for a June 4 release. Directed by Prakash Jha, it also stars Arjun Rampal, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai, Nana Patekar and Naseeruddin Shah.

Now cricket in sari for Katrina

Cricket is considered to be a gentlemen's game, but Katrina Kaif defied all rules when she played the game in a sari on the sets of her new film 'Raajneeti'.

During the shooting of the film, Katrina often joined Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor in a game of cricket.

When asked whether she was comfortable playing in a sari, the actress said: 'I was quite comfortable in the sari. Anyone who wants to learn to play cricket in a sari can come to me.'
