Up next, 'Aur Devdas'

There is yet another "Devdas" in the making and this time, it is out-of-the-box director Sudhir Mishra at the helm. Titled "Aur Devdas", the film is a contemporary adaptation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's love story, with a political backdrop. Sudhir is reportedly planning to rope in Rani Mukherjee and Shiney Ahuja for the lead roles. Rani is learnt to be impressed by the script and by the words of praise about Sudhir from Soha Ali Khan, who is in "Khoya Khoya Chand". Sudhir feels Shiney is ideal for the role of Devdas as he has the capability to pull off a complex character with ease.

Oooooh, sounds good! I just hope it has really good music like Sanjay Leela Bansali's version!

I dunno what my friend will think of it though...I think she'd prefer the Shahrukh Khan version, LoL.
