Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra VISITS a Government School!

Rakeysh  Om Prakash Mehra who is all set for the release of his movie 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' visited a government school to support the Yuva Foundation for their contribution for the society. 

Rakeysh  Om Prakash Mera's film 'Mere Pyare Prime Minister' is based upon open defecation issue and sanitation problems in the country and Yuva Foundation are doing their bit for the society as they built toilets for the school and one such government school which they have built for is a school in suburbs and filmmaker Rakeysh  Mehra attended the event as he supports the cause. 

Present at the event were Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra, the global CEO of Unilever Paul Polman who gave a speech on awareness open defecation issue and sanitation problems in the country. 

The global CEO of Unilever Paul Polman was so impressed by the thought behind the film and the medium via which the awareness is being generated that he said that "I am looking forward to 15th March and I will fly down to watch the film from Europe."

The inspiration behind the film for the filmmaker Rakeysh Om Prakash Mera is during the shoot of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag he was shooting at one of the locations where he saw women carrying buckets of water early in the morning for sanitation and then he realized the situation for which he wanted to make people aware of  open defecation issue and sanitation problems in the country and film as a medium can reach the masses and spread the message. 

The film is shot at real locations which were finalized after the recce of 1 month of Mumbai and highlights the mother-son relation who's will is to achieve the impossible. 

Mere Pyare Prime Minister stars the national award-winning actress Anjali Patil who is playing the role of the mother. The music of the film is given by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and lyrics by Gulzar.

Mere Pyare Prime Minister is all set to release on 15th March 2019.
