Actor Shiney Ahuja formally charged with raping maid

<a href= Shiney Ahuja" align="right" hspace="5" vspace="5" /> Mumbai Police Thursday filed a charge sheet against Bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja in a court here, accusing him of rape and wrongful confinement of his domestic help.

The 109-page charge sheet contains medical and forensic evidences, reports and witness statements, an official told IANS on condition of anonymity.

The 36-year-old actor was arrested June 15 after his teenaged domestic help accused him of raping her.

She told police that the actor called her into his room saying that he needed water and then locked her and raped her.

The actor will now continue to be in judicial custody till Aug 13 and is currently in the Arthur Road jail.

A Mumbai court had earlier rejected a bail application filed by Ahuja.

I too WAS a fan of his, but this is this disgusting to the highest degree. I don't even think I could enjoy looking at any of his movies from now, even if teh movies themselves were excellent (for example, Gangster)
