Monica Bedi to star in TV show

New Delhi, Aug 8 (IANS) Bollywood starlet Monica Bedi, the former companion of jailed gangster Abu Salem, will now be seen on the small screen in filmmaker Anubhav Sinha's new thriller show 'Mr & Mrs Mishra'.

After having made a comeback last year to the entertainment world with reality shows 'Bigg Boss 2' and 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3', Monica will essay the role of a prime suspect in a murder case in the show.

The show will be aired on Sahara One.

She also undertook a workshop organised by the producers to help her prepare for her role, which has grey shades.

'The plot of the show is very interesting and different since there is a reality show woven within the plot. Besides, it's very much like 'Bigg Boss' which is very close to my heart; as it really helped me in making a very successful comeback,' Monica said in a press release.
