Alia Bhatt buys a new home in Juhu. Can you guess the hefty price?

Alia Bhatt is one of the most prolific Bollywood actresses and her body of work is too impressive for words. Add to this, she has bought herself a new home in Juhu and her recent investment is proof that she doesn't mind walking an extra mile to achieve her dreams.

As per a report in DNA, Alia has got a 2,300 square feet apartment on the first floor of a posh locality in Juhu and it's price is a whopping Rs. 13.11 crore. Guess what? She paid almost double the amount to bag this high-end flat since the ready reckoner rate of the apartment stands at Rs 7.86 crore.

"The property was registered with the sub-registrar's office in Andheri on January 9 and the seller is Rushang Shah, director of Shimnit Finance and Investments Pvt Ltd," the report added. For the unversed, Alia had bought two properties on the second floor of the building from Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher in 2015. So the new purchase is Alia's third home in Juhu, for which she has apparently paid a stamp duty of Rs. 65.5 lakhs as well.

Sangeet Hemant Kumar, of SHK Ventures further informed the daily, "There's a premium attached to these properties and going by the rate, the price that Bhatt paid for this property isn't very high. The property is exactly like a house a celebrity would like to invest in."

Well, the the locality is completely star-studded and it seems Alia wants to be around the A-listers of tinsel town.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia has an eclectic mix of films ahead including Ranveer Singh starrer Gully Boy, Karan Johar's Takht and Kalank apart from Sadak 2 alongside Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt.
