ranveer reveals the secret behind wife deepika's blessing picture

After his menacing portrayal of Alauddin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat, Ranveer Singh once again grabbed attention for his role of Sangeram Bhalerao in Rohit Shetty's masala entertainer Simmba, The film, which also featured Sara Ali Khan, is raking in moolah and inching towards the coveted 200-crore mark at the box-office in its second week itself.

In order to celebrate the film's success, the makers threw a bash at the residence of Karan Johar, who produced Simmba. Marking their presence at the party were the film's cast and crew apart from Kajol, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. In fact, several inside videos and pictures of Ranveer burning the dance floor took the internet by a storm. Not to forget, Rohit's epic picture with his Simmba, Singham and Sooryavanshi.

However, there was this one picture, which had Deepika blessing Ranveer, Rohit and Karan, that went viral on social media and left everyone wondering why the actress was doing so. When Ranveer was asked about it in an interview with PinkVilla, he spilled the beans saying that everyone was discussing at the bash that DP has arrived as 'Laxmi' in their lives post-marriage with Ranveer and hence, they all decided to seek blessings from her.

Well, isn't that lovely?

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, the trailer of which has been widely appreciated.
