WHY Priyanka Chopra chose Jodhpur over International destinations?

Our desi girl Priyanka Chopra is tying the knot to the International singing heart throb Nick Jonas. She is called desi girl for many reasons and she is proving that she is exactly what we think at every single step of her wedding. 

Just like today, she is starting her wedding ceremonies with a puja at her mom's house. She wants to pray to god before starting her new innings in life. As far as the other things are concerned, PeeCee might be an Internationally acclaimed diva but she is totally Indian at heart.

When PeeCee and Nick announced that they will be getting married soon, many countries and tourism boards approached her. They knew that the entire world will keep a tab on every single deet of her wedding and there is no better than way to promote themselves than to be a part of Priyanka's wedding. 

But our desi girl did what her heart speaks to her. Over all the other locations our girl, chose Jodhpur, Rajasthan. She is a royal at heart and hence she found Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace as the perfect place to add to her life as golden memories. Her mother Madhu said,"Mere buhut hee pasandita shehar hai, poori duniya chodhkar yaha aaye hai (Jodhpur is one of my favorite cities in the world)."

As we speak right now, PeeCee performs puja at her mom's place and will move to Jodhpur tomorrow. The pre-wedding festivities will start from tomorrow and she will be Mr. Jonas on the 3rd of December.
