Ash takes a dig at Sonam, 'Just another junior artiste'

If you thought the two ladies in question, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor, had called a truce to their ongoing verbal war... think again.

After Sonam referred to Ash as Auntyji at a recent Loreal press conference, Ash has hit back by calling the youngster 'Just another junior artiste'. Ash cleared it to the media that she thought the issue was blown out of proportion and that she does not consider Sonam as competition. She beleives that she along with another senior artistes have established themselves in the industry and do not need to prove themselves unlike the newcomers who are searching a place for themselves.

Aishwarya and Sonam have been at loggerheads with each other since L'Oreal opted for the younger Kapoor young face of the brand retaining Ash as an international brand ambassador of the same.

As interesting as this verbal assault is getting, it's time for both the girls to grow up.

Hey Guys, I just saw the new issue of Femina on stands and it had Ash on the cover when she was 10 years younger and now.... you should check it out.. the picture is also up on the Femina fan page on facebook

it's so rediculous to see people hating aish instead of what she has done to give bollywood and india some recognition.. she is the one who came on oprah, david letterman show.. they are not stupid to call her if she was nothing... she and insecure !!!!!!! of sonam ??????????? and btw taal was hit only because of her as anil kapoor comes in movie after interval .. hum dil de chuke was hit because of her..and she got award for both the movies.. i am not a biggest fan of her's but i like the way she has come up and her hardwork.. bachchan name has not given her movies and international movies as they don't even know about bachchans there ..

i didn't like ash nor sonam.because of attitude, in this case i'm little bit supportive for sonam. she is better actress than ashwiraya rai. i can say my seeing her in delhi 6 and sawaariya i know both movies are big flop but she is a good actress.
secondly i think ash didn't marry with abhishek she marry with the title bachchan
thirdly madam ash don't forgot when you debut inthe bollywood you had given your hit with anil kapoor who is sonam father . if there is no anil kapoor in the movie than the movie would we big flop. if anil has treated you in this way than how you feel and you are treating his daughter like this moreover that time you are not a star kid but don't forget sonam is a star kid .
