Despite mixed reviews for its weak storyline, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor starrer romantic comedy 'Kambakkht Ishq' has grossed Rs.100 crore (Rs.1 billion) at the box office in its first week.
Distributed worldwide by Eros with around 2,000 prints worldwide, 'Kambakkht...' hit more than 1,400 screens in India and about 600 overseas in a combination of prints and digital format.

Its the most pathetic movie I have ever seen after CCTC,Tashan and Aag !! Both Kareena and Akki are playing childish rolls for the adult audience !! Where did this billion comes is the news and the tax people should investigate this badly written, scripped acted and horrible songs movie !!
there is nothing interesting in this movie. very bad script, acting , songs and dialogues... just can not digest how it was a hit..
Don't misjudge the movie.
Kambakht Ishq neither was tacky nor it had below-the-belt jokes. It was an entertaining comedy film unlike others in the recent past and this movie tells of how the nowadays generation moves on basis of these kind of concepts. However, the movie was more like an american romantic comedy which has it's unique concept and the film did rate it was PG 15+,so those of you who went with their families should have reconsider watching this film by watching the trailers or the posters displayed outside the cinemas and judged it.
Kambakkht Ishq is the now days generation kind of a movie, despite the critics who've criticised for it's foul language and vulgarity that makes the the script so weak, they didn't understand the movie's basic concept ,which I shall remind the people that it is:"THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES".
I'm very happy that the movie was successful around the world.Akshay's comic timing was perfect.
oh plz stupid h8 kareena and the whole film TACKY!!
I cant believe this movie actually saw so much success! I'm appalled to say the least. This movie had some VERY cheap dialouges and below-the-belt jokes that i was so NOT comfortable hearing and that too in an indian movie.
kareena acted so bad and anyways story was bad, direction was bad and very cheap dialogues too...
Crap movie!!!! I can't believe big actors like Kareenaagreed to do it....
it was total waste of time... it was mindless and not even funny... govinda's movies were also not very real these but were entertaining.. akshay should grow up and do some mature roles or he is going to be typecast very soon ...
rubbish film wasted my money watchin that :)
