Poorna: Movie Review: It's more than what you expected!

The story is based on true events that happened Poorna Malawat's life, the youngest girl to conquer Mt. Everest.

The film opens with a view from the top of Mount Everest! At the base of which our titular character, Poorna, is seen lying inside a tent as she suffers from high fever. While she falls asleep, the flashback story about how she got there, begins!

Aditi Inamdar plays the central character of the film, Poorna Malawat. Her performance in the film is par excellence! Her expressions, the Telugu diction, the innocence and the kind of ease she has maintained in front of the camera is rarely seen these days.

The character of her cousin, Priya, is played by S. Mariya, will surely make an impression on your minds! The bond between both the sisters as well as between Poorna and Praveen Kumar sir (Rahul Bose) is shown beautifully on the screen.

Talking about Rahul Bose, he is a silent killer! Simple yet a classic execution of his skills. He also did an excellent job as a director of the film.

The supporting characters just add to the beauty of the film. Use of Telugu with Hindi enhances the realistic experience and the background score and also the songs add to the energy to the film.

Even though you are aware of the climax of the film, these aspects listed above, keep you engrossed throughout!
