Mastizaade: It's like a Heavy Metal song! (Movie Review)

When we hear a heavy metal song we feel like our head is banging. Same is the case with Mastizaade! You feel like banging your head on a wall!

I don't know where to start with for this film!

The movie is a package consisting of 'viral banned advertisements' that are sent across Whatsapp and other social media platforms. I mean they have scenes which are exact replicas of the videos! Does the filmmakers think that the audience is technologically handicapped or something? Do they think such things would slip right past us?

Talking about the story line, there isn't any! The film has the same old 'ghisi piti' love story...'Love story', which features two guys who fall after two girls and how they have to travel to an exotic foreign location and how they convince the girl to run from her so-called marriage and then win the heart of the girl's father. But all of this has a dirty twist to it.

The most used word in this film is 'Khada' which is used over and over again in terms like Khada kar dungi, Khada ho gaya and Khada nahi hoga! I am not making this up but the second most used word would be 'Goti.'

The actors in this film are just hired to crack lame jokes and act horny all the time.

Sunny Leone hasn't done many films yet and films like these make me wonder if she would be getting any decent films in the future.

Tusshar Kapoor is seen in his wild form...again. Vir Das on the other hand has done a good job as we can see how he can adapt from award winning films to even the stupidest films ever made.

I am really judging Suresh Menon right now as he has shown that he can stoop to any level for the right amount of money! He has portrayed the 'gayest' character in the history of Indian cinema!

The direction of the film is average and all scenes are kind of left on a loose string. There is no flow through the film and it fails to keep the viewer hooked on.

The songs of the film are good to listen to but have been directed terribly. Who even dances in clubs facing the audience?!? There are too many songs cramped up in the film's run time.

If you plan to watch this film make sure you leave your brains at home and I salute in advance to the person who would actually like this film.

I give this film a single star because the filmmakers actually had the guts to make such a sad movie!
