Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna - A Simple, Realistic Love Story

Diwali dhamal week with three biggies releasing on Friday to  battle it out at BO: "Blue," "All the best- Fun Begins," and "Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna."

It's a well-known the films tend to do way better over the holidays then during the regular weekends.  After all, who doesn't want to cash in on the festive mood of the public ? People tend to spend during festivals and Diwali guarantees bumper openings.

The problem arises when big films featuring big stars release simultaneously making the average viewer confused as to which movie to watch and which one to give amiss.

Initially the critics speculated that the lucky movie to have advantage was Blue ( Thriller movie-starring Akshay Kumar & Sanjay Dutt) over Main aur Mrs Khanna ( Romantic movie-Starring Salman Khan & Kareena Kapoor) & All the Best-Fun begins ( Comedy flick -starring Ajay Devgan, Fardeen Khan)  but as per the advance booking reports from many cinema chains, the odds are in favor of Main aur Mrs Khanna. The credit for this switch goes to the fanstastic promotion of the movie that an average movie goer wants to watch the movie with his family.

The debutant director Prem Soni claims that the USP of the film  is that it is  a very simple and realistic romantic movie which highlights the journey of  a deeply in love couple trying to cope up with problems arising in their marriage.  According to the confident director, the movie will leave an undying positive impact in the mind of the viewers.  Soni's recommendation is that all couples going through a bad phase in marriage should watch this movie as it might help them in sort out the issues. 

Here's wishing MAMK a successful journey at the box office.  But only time will tell whether or not Director Prem Soni's claims went in vain.
