Katrina Kaif - Officially Barbie!

Katrina Kaif's unofficial nickname, 'Barbie doll', has now become official!  Look-alike Barbie dolls of the actress will be hitting stores later this month. Yep, you heard it right! The Katrina Kaif Barbie dolls will be launched in stores soon, followed by a fashion show and the release of a video introducing the doll.

According to sources, Katrina is very excited about the doll, but even more enthusiastic are her sisters who see this as a bona fide achievement. Apparently Kat is the first Asian actress to be replicated in the form of a Barbie doll. The sisters have grown up knowing the doll as an international fashion icon, and now the Katrina doll hitting the stands is a moment of pride for them.

Sources say Katrina has already drawn up a list of people to whom she's going to give her first batch of Barbies. This list includes her niece Maya, Farah Khan's triplets Anya, Diva and Czar, and Kabir Khan's daughter Sairah. The actress was heard saying everyone should have the new Katrina doll!  In fact, she even remembers the days when she used to play with Barbie herself. 

Previously  Katrina walked the ramp as a Barbie during the 50th Birthday celebrations of the iconic toy in 2009.

We congratulate Katrina on her newest achievement - there's nothing quite like taking a derogatory moniker from critics and turning it into such a lucrative endorsement! Kudos!
