IFTDA honors legendary filmmakers

The Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) has felicitated prominent filmmakers Shakti Samanta, Lekh Tandon and B P Singh with the IFTDA Lifetime Achievement award at a star studded award ceremony at Bhavan's College ground in Andheri west

The IFTDA has also honored National Award winners Rahul Dholakia for ‘Parzania’, Pradeep Sarkar for ‘Parineeta’, Shujminder Dhanjal for Punjabi film ‘Bagi’, Anand Ghatraj for his Bhojpuri film and Nishikant Kamat for Marathi film ‘Dombivali Fast’ among others.

Special guests present on the occasion included Sharmila Tagore, Shatrughan Sinha, Jagdeep, Gulzar,Raman Kumar, Deepti Naval, Aseem Samanta, Ashok Pandit, Vinod Pandey and Dharmesh Tiwar.

This was definitely a grand affair celebrating the best of the Indian cinema! -(SAMPURN)
