Peepli [Live] Premiere

The year has witnessed many ups and downs with movies getting mixed responses at the Box Office. One such movie, Peepli Live, being one of the most awaited movies of the year is expecting the same result at the BO. More the former though rather than the latter, as it is all set to rock the theatres, having already received high end reviews from critics!


The movie being churned out from the camp of Aamir Khan Productions had Mr. Perfectionist bravely screening Peepli Live to critics a day in advance of its release. Such was the confidence in the movie between the cast and crew.


Peepli Live is burlesque on the pledge of the farmers which illuminates their daily struggle. It throws lights on how people turn adverse situation to their advantage. Directed by debutante Anusha Rizvi, Peepli Live features a cast ensemble of: Omkar Das Manikpuri, Raghuveer Yadav, Malaika Shenoy, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shalini Vatsa, Farrukh Jaffer and Vishal O Sharma in lead roles.


The permire occasion was no small affair with big household names filling the event with their grace. Rani Mukherjee, Juhi Chawla, Salman Khan, Sachin Tendulkar, Omkar Das are just a few to name amongst many others gracing the prestigious event.


Peepli Live hits the theatres today.
