Vesty Woe - Shahid says No!

There has been buzz of late, about Shahid falling in line with the tantrum stars in Bollywood - time and again, earlier on the sets of Kaminey, later for Chance Pe Dance, and now, as news has it, on the sets of YRF's Badmaash Company.


Apparently, Shahid was asked, as per prior plans which he was very much privy to, sport a white vest in a bar shoot, for the title track of the movie. The young rising star, who has for one, been utterly conscious of his looks at all given times of public and screen appearances, gave it a flat no.


Said he, in his argument, that for the shooting requirements of his father's directorial venture Mausam, where he plays the role of a depressed youth, forced him to skip his recent daily workout sessions to fit the character better. Lack of muscle maintenance hence, has driven Shahid in to a show-it-less mode where a vest he complained was too revealing!


While the crew persisted with Shahid that the vest was what had been planned, and director Parmeet Sethi had himself had made the selection, the actor remained unmoved on his anti - call.


Ultimately, both the director, and the crew members had to settle with a white short sleeved, more concealing vest.


Shahid, shying of flaunting that wonderful physique? - All we can say is what a pity!
