Videocon, in a surprising move has chosen Abhishek Bachchan to represent its D2H (direct to home service) as a brand ambassador, thereby sidelining Salman Khan, the primary choice as per many inside sources.


CEO Mr. Khera, responsible for the D2H wing and therefore the selection of the face to represent the brand claimed that it had always been Abhi - him being a close friend and a unanimously approved choice by the board.


Viewers should know that junior Bachchan had amicably so much as offered to walk out on the endorsement if he was held responsible for unfair replacements. Of course nothing such eventuated, and Abhishek will now be seen on screens in millions of home, chanting, Direct Hai, Correct Hai, the chosen slogan for Videocon's D2H.
