55th Filmfare: The Award Goes to...

The 55th Filmfare Awards were held as per schedule on the 27th of February at the Yash Raj Studios. Playing host were the celebrated Khans, Shahrukh and Saif, complemented by the presence of close mutual friend Karan Johar.

The ceremony witnessed the absence of the prominent Bachchans, in retaliation to the 'false news of Aishwarya's illness' (stomach tuberculosis as reported) published by a Mumbai tabloid which is owned by the same industrial house which organizes the Filmfare awards.

    Much over rated film made by thieves. The news about VV Chopra & Hirani stealing the concept from an average p[erson's book and not giving him proper credit due only goes to proove that Bollywood Artists are 100% thieves. No one is better than the other.

    in the popular categories it should have beeneither big b or shahid- i would have chosen shahid but its a close call

    best actress is well deserved for vidya balen- although i didnt tink she would win BTW kareena shouldnt have been nominted for best actress at all infact her role was like a supporting role

    best directer should have gone to vishal for kamineey

    best film, 3 idoits nothing wrong there

    Mr. Bachchan & Vidya deserved d award this year! :-) happy for them. Though in odr awards, critics' award shld hv gone to shahid and not Ranbir. BEST MALE PLAYBACK SINGER Award shld hv gone to Sonu NIgam.
