Paa favored financially!

When Big B arranged for a semi formal gratitude offering meet with Karnataka's CM Dr. BS Yediyuruppa on Saturday, wisely, he prepared also for an exclusive PVR screening of ABCL's production Paa. A movie where real life Bachan father-son duo play the roles oppositely to portray the life of a progeria inflicted patient (enacted by Amitabh Bachan).


The sensitivity of the theme hit a chord with the minister who has hereby declared a 50% rebate on the entertainment tax levied by the state on the movie in Karnataka's halls, January 15th onwards. 


The movie which released in December 2009, starring Vidya Balan with Abhishek as the parents of the suffering child, is inspired by Hollywood's production Jack, and has done very well at box office, and in its world wide showcasing. 


Previously, Aamir Khan's message carrying blockbuster Taare Zameen Par had been relieved of entertainment taxes similarly, in Karnataka.
