One young shot upsets older legacy?

Eikona, a division of 'Television Audience Measurement' (devoted to measuring PR and popularity) has by its most recent survey in the four large metro cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkota and Bangalore - determined a fast approaching alteration in what has long been the norm in our film industry.

According to the survey which ranked Bollywood biggies based on several criteria, latest sensation Ranbir Kapoor topped the list with a whopping score of 39! Despite his debut, Saawariya, bombing at the box-office, the young heart throb was well received by countless fans and of most recent been riding high on the mega success of his coming of age movie, Wake Up Sid. Widespread promotions of newly released Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani have also added to his popularity.

However, can his success be warning enough to sound an alarm for the formidable Khans? Fans maybe surprised to hear that whilst Aamir scored highest out of the three; he only averaged at 25/40 with Salman in close pursuit with 21. But King Khan himself has managed a rather meager, almost shocking single digit score of 4 points! Again, if one is to go by expected premises for how such analysis was formalized, its evident that both Aamir and SRK have so far not contributed much to the Box Office this year. However, after the exceptional success of Wanted, and two other releases in his kitty - Mr. and Mrs. Khanna and London Dreams - Salman's rating does raise brows.

Even if it's nothing phenomenal, considering this is but just another survey; are we really fast approacing an an era of a younger brigade taking over tinsel town which has so far been characterised and undeniably ruled by these older, seasoned actors for almost two decades now?

newer generation has to come up.. ranbir, shahid, imraan, neil and hrithik has to come up... the khans are in their 40's and don't look good with 20 or 30 something heroines.. we all know that men age late but ranbir and sonam suited more than salman and sonam... and kareena / shahid or kareena / hrithik looks way better than kareena/ salman/shahrukh or aamir .. aamir still looks much younger for his age but other two should take roles according to their age now...

Those 3 Khans are all old now, theyre in their 40s, how long will they rule at the B.O.? The old order changeth giving place to new! Now its the time of the 2 Kapoors, Shahid, Ranbir and the younger Khan Imraan! Neil Nitin is also one to watch out for!

Ranbir surely is the best of younger lot. he rocks ans is perfect in all departments reqd for an actor. Khans, esply Salman n Aamir r also good. this is unfair to compare them to Ranbir.they belong to difft generations.
