Mr. Yash Chopra - Asian Filmmaker of the Year!

Mr. Yash Chopra who has given endless romantic super duper hit flicks was honored as the Asian Filmmaker of the Year at the 14th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF).


Mr. Chopra was undoubtedly the perfect choice for this award as he's one of the incredible filmmakers in Bollywood today.  Currently his production house, Yash Raj Films, is giving a chance to many newcomer directors and writers, but who could forget the magic that the evergreen romantic films like "Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge" and "Veer Zaara".


Accepting the award, Mr. Chopra made a comment about the value of proving yourself day in and day out in Bollywood.  He believes that no matter how many successful movies you have under your belt, your destiny rests on your latest film.


14th PIFF dedicated a special segment called "A Special Program in Focus: Retrospective on Yash Chopra" to honor Mr. Yash Chopra.  This segment witnessed the screening of four YRF successful ventures ' Lamhe, Dhoom 2, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and New York.
