Shweta Bachchan-Nanda (born March 17, 1974) is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and sister to Abhishek Bachchan.
Bachchan-Nanda is married to industrialist Nikhil Nanda, the son of Ritu Nanda (Rita Kapoor-Nanda), daughter of Raj Kapoor and Rajan Nanda. She married in February 16, 1997 at Prateeksha, her parents' home. She now resides in Delhi with her husband. They have two children, Navya Naveli (born in 1997) and Agastya Nanda.
She was a citizen journalist with the Indian News Channel CNN IBN.
In 2007 Bachchan-Nanda hosted NextGen, a series of interview shows aired on the television network NDTV Profit.
In April 2007 she made an appearance with Jaya Bachchan on an episode of Koffee with Karan along with Hema Malini and her daughter Esha Deol.
Bachchan-Nanda modeled for the first time in the September 2006 issue of L'Officiel India. She also appeared in June 2009 for L'Officiel India's 7th anniversary with her brother, Abhishek Bachchan.
