She was born into a family of educationist / academicians and painters in Bhopal and at a very small age moved to Ujjain, the nagari of Mahakaal. Shakespeare, Kalidas, Picasso, Rembrandt were part of my growing up years. No wonder after a good teaching session my parents would never stop me from acting in plays; anchoring or debating in prime/ important functions. After my graduation she joined the Fore School of Management, New Delhi. Armed with an MBA in marketing. Then Femina Cover girl 2006 contest happened which she won. This initiated my career in the world of acting. Aisa Des Hai Mera, a show conceptualized my Lekh Tandon and telecast on Sony Entertainment Channel became my debutant. That's how she came to Mumbai and now there is no looking back.
When she was young she was known as a poet. My father used to tell me that writing my true calling in life. She started writing when I was just 6 yrs old; all the lines that she had written between the age of 6 to 16yrs were published. My first book was called Meri Bhavnaayen, it was also nominated for the Modi young writer's award.
