Indian actor Rajat Barmecha, the 17 year old star played the lead role in the film 'Udaan.
Udaan being his first film and Cannes being his first outing to any international film fest, Rajat was clueless about the dress code. Apparently, the clothes he had carried were not fit to walk the red carpet of the biggest international film fests in the world.
When Anurag Kashyap, the producer of the film, learnt about it, he bailed out Rajat by arranging a tuxedo by Narendra Kumar at the eleventh hour. The team then walked the red carpet and earned a standing ovation after the screening.
