Personal:Gautam Rode was born on 14 August 1977 and he hails from Delhi.
Gautam finished his schooling from Army Public School, Delhi &
graduated from Bhagat Singh College, Delhi in Commerce.
He wanted to
carry on with his father's business of stock broking in the share
market. His father wanted him to continue his career in stock market
business but he had a different fate so now he is an actor and model.
Career:Rode initially started out his acting career in Bollywood with the film
Annarth, starring opposite
Preeti Jhangiani.
He has also done a lot of ads as well as albums.
Tere Bina, an album by
Abhijeet Bhattacharya which featured Gautam in the music video, received international acclaim after winning the
MTV Asia Awards. This was followed by a long career in television.
Gautam's most memorable roles in television have been in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby and in the kid's adventure TV programme Lucky. In Baa Bahoo Aur Baby,
Rode played an NRI Anish whom Baby falls in love with, and in Lucky he
played the title character, a young con who runs a fake antique shop in
Chor Bazaar.
He also appeared as a guest in the show Mallika-E-Kitchen's 1st season.
Rode made his Bollywood comeback in 2009 with Ram Gopal Verma's horror flick titled Agyaat where he enacted the role of Sharman, in which he received noteworthy
reviews praising his performance.
During September 2010, Gautam featured
in a first of a kind 16-episodic story for the acclaimed horror show Aahat, titled Maut Ka Khel, which featured 16 popular faces of the Hindi Television Industry.
Rode was also hosting India's Got Talent along with Meiyang Chng, which on airs on Colors TV. Rode has worked in many serials. He also hosted Nach Baliye along with
He played the lead role of Saraswatichandra in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's show Saraswatichandra on Star Plus which he is praised for such an outstanding performance, he is also
getting the attention of the audience and is loved very much, his social
networking sites are also getting are lot of audience.
Currently, he is playing the role of Karn in Suryaputra Karn in Sony TV
